Reverie Orchards, a small apple orchard owned and operated by Charles and Branka Harris, has been certified organic since 1982 in Sonoma County. Reverie Orchards was one of approximately twelve organic growers in Sonoma County in 1982. Several of those early organic growers use to meet regularly to discuss organic farming practices and improve their farming methods. Charles and Branka delivered organic apples to the Mom and Pop organic produce markets to include Whole Foods Markets in San Francisco.
Though less active now, we still grow organically certified apples and support the principles of the Organic Food Movement. Presently, we mainly sell direct from the farm and donate many boxes of organic apples to the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
