Since we began granting in 2014, the CCOF Foundation has awarded $3,617,240 to 1,131 farmers and provided 6,627 organic professionals with 155 professional development opportunities through our trainings.
But the CCOF Foundation’s impact among organic farming communities can’t be expressed with numbers alone.
Behind the impressive statistics are farmers like Marissa, Adelio, Lehia, Shannon, Yadira, and Jared. We want to give a huge thank-you to the countless organic advocates in the state of California and beyond. All over the world, dedicated food producers protect our air and water from harmful pesticides and fight climate change by choosing to be certified organically.
This Giving Tuesday (December 3), we encourage you to remember the people behind the numbers and donate to the CCOF Foundation.
Your donation supports farmers who are beginning their organic transition journeys, students who need financial assistance for their organic education, and organic farmers experiencing climate-related or other disasters. Your donation enables the CCOF Foundation to funnel resources to communities demonstrating the most need and allows us to uplift the next generation of organic farmers as they continue the critical work of tending to the health of our soils, our communities, and our climate.
We wish you a beautiful holiday season and remind you that every donation counts!
