Update to Email Information Displayed in the Organic Integrity Database (OID)

To strengthen data security and reduce the risk of phishing attempts, we are changing how email addresses are displayed in the USDA Organic Integrity Database (OID) and on NOP organic certificates.

What’s Changing?

Your operation’s main contact email address will no longer be displayed in OID or on your organic certificate by default. Instead, you have the option to provide a separate public-facing email address.

If you choose to add a public-facing email:

  • It will appear in OID and on your NOP organic certificate.
  • It will be visible to the public.
  • It will not be used for CCOF correspondence or official notifications unless you use the same main contact email address.

You may use the same email as your main contact if you prefer, but you will still need to add it as your public-facing email.

How Do I Add a Public-Facing Email?
You can add or update your public-facing email at any time through your MyCCOF account:

  • Log in to MyCCOF.org and go to the Public Profile tab.
  • Scroll to the My Operations Online section.
  • Check the box for Public-Facing Email and enter your email in the Comment field.
  • Scroll to the top of the page and click Save.

You can also contact us at inbox@ccof.org or call the CCOF office for assistance.
