With the support of Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps, the Kentucky Hemp Research Foundation is hosting a Go Organic Seminar for industrial hemp farmers and CCOF will be there! Join us and other industry speakers, including:

CCOF at Natural Products Expo West

CCOF will be at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim! In addition to being a part of the main trade show event, this year we will be in the Fresh Ideas tent too. We will be there to promote our members, their certified organic products, and our “Organic is Non-GMO & More” seal. Come see us at booth F27 in the Fresh Ideas tent on March 10, or booth 3026 on the main floor of the convention center March 11-13.

CCOF at Organic Workshop in Shasta County

The Shasta Mosquito and Vector Control District, in collaboration with the Shasta County Agricultural Commissioner, is hosting a workshop that focuses on the regulations of and resources for organic production in Shasta County. CCOF will be there! Join us and other speakers, including:

CCOF will be at the 29th California Small Farm Conference in Sacramento March 5-8. We will be there to answer any questions about organic certification, food safety certification, and our new “Organic is Non-GMO & More” seal!

CCOF will be at the Annual Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association Conference on Wednesday, February 17! CCOF Foundation Hosts Food Safety Workshops for Produce Growers at Three California Locations

On Monday, produce growers from across Northern California gathered in Sacramento for a workshop on on-farm food safety.

Taught by Atina Diffley—organic farmer and author of the book Turn Here Sweet Corn: Organic Farming Works—workshop participants put together action plans to address food safety on their individual operations. In building their plans, growers considered market needs, as well as the new federal food safety regulations.

CCOF Hosts Webinar on Methods for Teaching Organic Farming and Gardening

Join farmer-educator Christof Bernau from the Center for Agroecology & Sustainable Food Systems (CASFS) at UC Santa Cruz on Wednesday, February 24, from 12-1 p.m. for a free webinar on farm-based experiential education. Bernau will discuss ways to use an array of strategies to engage your audience; build student, intern and apprentice capacity; and grow the next generation of farmers.
