If you’ve been reading the CCOF E-Newsletter for a while, you’re likely familiar with the CCOF Foundation’s Future Organic Farmer Grant Fund.
Since 2014, the Future Organic Farmer Grant Fund has given more than $600,000 directly to students and teachers who are inspired to study organic. 100% of donations to the fund are given directly to the next generation of organic farmers and producers, made possible with the generosity of households, businesses, and foundations across the country.
Covilli Brand Organics was one of the Fund’s original Champion-level supporters in 2014, part of a group of organic businesses who decided something needed to be done to address the aging farmer population in the United States. Now, Covilli Brand Organics has joined the latest group of businesses supporting the Future Organic Farmer Grant Fund during this difficult year. The CCOF Foundation is so grateful for the continued support of companies like Covilli Brand Organics and their investment in the future of our nation’s organic food supply.
Covilli Brand Organics is a certified organic and certified fair trade company, who has not only supported nonprofits like the CCOF Foundation throughout COVID-19, but has also partnered with Organically Grown to donate produce to hungry populations throughout the crisis. What’s more, their fair trade certification allowed Covilli’s farming operations in Mexico to launch their own healthcare clinic, where they are educated about the role of nutrition in health and can access otherwise unavailable medical treatments, like dental care.
Please consider joining Covilli Brand Organics to advance CCOF’s mission by donating to the CCOF Foundation, which is re-investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to students, teachers, and organic farmers and producers in need this year.
