Grown in rich volcanic soils and irrigated with the purest of Mt. Hood’s glacial water, Mt. Hood Organic Farms produces tree-ripened fruit of exceptional sweetness, gorgeous color, and superior nutrition.
Bordered by national forest and a wild and scenic river, the orchard coexists with herds of elk, bear, deer and various other species of wildlife. Bald eagles and osprey fish in a lake shared with ducks and Canadian geese.
The farm’s grounds incorporate English-style gardens, native plantings, herb and vegetable gardens, berries and a grape arbor, and is a wedding venue in the summer months.
Certified organic since 1989, Mt. Hood Organic Farms is also a Demeter Certified Biodynamic farm which adheres to the strictest possible growing practices and reflects an even deeper commitment to the total scheme of natural harmony.
