Share your thoughts on a certification program for organic advisors! The American Society of Agronomy (ASA), Crop Science Society of America (CSSA), and Soil Science Society of America (SSSA)—known together as the Tri-Societies—are gathering input from professionals who work with or advise organic operations. This includes farm advisors, company compliance officers, consultants, agency staff, and other organic technical assistance providers.
The goal is to determine whether there is enough interest to develop a new certification program for professional advisors, consultants, and employees who provide advice, information, services, or products to certified organic farmers and operations. For Certified Crop Advisers: New Organic Specialty Exam
The Tri-Societies are also offering a discount on ASA’s new Organic Specialty Exam for existing Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs) specializing in organic. This is separate from the new certification being explored through the survey above and is specifically for those who are already a CCA.
Advisors can receive $100 off the standard price for the November testing window. This discount is available to the first 150 people who register between September 9 and September 30, using promo code ORG26.
