Last year, CCOF members invested in the CCOF Foundation and the Future Organic Farmer Grant Fund. By partnering with organic sector business leaders, the fund addresses the need for new organic producers through investing in organic agriculture education. As a gesture of solidarity, Sambrailo Packaging will donate a portion of sales from their recently-launched Go Greener!™ clamshells to CCOF in support of the Future Organic Farmer Grant Fund. The Future Organic Farmer Grant Fund is a first-of-its-kind collaboration among organic industry leaders. The CCOF Foundation and UNFI Foundation, along with Driscoll’s, Organic Valley, and Bradmer Foods have pooled their resources to support the education of new organic farmers, ranchers, and food processors. The deadlines for two categories of the CCOF Future Organic Farmer Grant Fund is fast approaching.
