Neal MacDougall, Professor of Agribusiness at Cal Poly, Appointed Chair of CCOF Certification Services, LLC Management Committee

(Feb 27, 2014) Santa Cruz, CA –  CCOF announced today Neal MacDougall, an associate professor of agribusiness at Cal Poly for more than 17 years, has been appointed chair of the CCOF Certification Services, LLC Management Committee. The committee manages CCOF Certification Services, LLC on behalf of CCOF, Inc.  

At Cal Poly, professor MacDougall serves as chair of the Academic Senate Sustainability Committee and participates in SUSTAIN, an integrated freshman program focusing on sustainability. He also headed the Sustainable Agriculture Resources Consortium (SARC) that was the precursor to the CAFES Center for Sustainability.

CCOF Certification Services, LLC, governed by the LLC Management Committee, provides a variety of organic certification programs and is accredited by the USDA National Organic Program (NOP).
