Operations located in the United States and certified to the National Organic Program (NOP) can ship to Taiwan through the US/Taiwan Equivalence Arrangement. The arrangement recognizes the NOP standards and the Taiwan organic standards as equivalent, with minor critical variances.

Products must be either produced within, or have final processing or packaging occur within the United States.
The equivalence arrangement covers organic crops, wild crops, livestock, and processed products.
Honey (sold as a single ingredient) is not covered under this arrangement. Organic processed products that include honey or other apiculture products as ingredients may be traded under this arrangement.

The Canadian Organic Regime (COR) has an organic equivalence arrangement with the Taiwan Council of Agriculture (COA), Agriculture and Food Agency (AFA). This arrangement establishes the Canadian COR standards and the Taiwan organic standards as equivalent, with minor critical variances.

- COR products must be either produced within, or have final processing or packaging occur within Canada.
- The equivalence arrangement covers organic plants, plant based processed products, livestock products and processed food products containing livestock ingredients, and aquaculture products.
- Honey is not covered under this arrangement.
