GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) v6 GFS FV Trainings

CCOF is offering two 16-hour, virtual-led courses to provide growers of plants with key insights and understandings of the GLOBALG.A.P. requirements for the Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) Version 6 SMART and GFS. Come join CCOF to learn about the various certification options and requirements and how to prepare your operation for the transition to GLOBALG.A.P. Version 6 audit in the coming 2024 season.

Join us for the GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) v6 GFS FV trainings hosted by CCOF. For your convenience CCOF is offering two different date ranges to attend. Please select one of the following:

  • November 1–3, 2023, GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) v6 GFS FV (21-RT-T-EN-1330) 

    November 1, 2023: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    November 2, 2023: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.                  

    November 3, 2023: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  • November 28–December 1, 2023, GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) v6 GFS FV (21-RT-T-EN-1329)

    November 28, 2023: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    November 29, 2023: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    November 30, 2023: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    December 1, 2023:  9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Intended Audiences: Producers, operations managers, supplier program managers, industry professionals, retailers, and GLOBALG.A.P. auditors who would like to gain in-depth and updated knowledge of the GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance Standard and who wish to become better acquainted with the new IFA v6 GFS Plants FV standard. To assist in the phase-in of implementation of the IFA.

About the Instructor: 

Originally from Denmark and holding a Master of Sciences degree in agricultural science from the University of Copenhagen, Astrid has over 25 years of experience in North American agricultural industries, with a focus on growing, harvest, and handling of crops. Astrid started out her time in the United States and was involved in graduate student programs in crop pest management at Washington State University. Astrid has been involved with the Pacific Northwest crop research communities while specializing for over two decades as a professional pest management consultant for perennial crop growers. For the past 10-plus years, Astrid has played an active role in the field of implementation of food safety and environmental sustainability programs specific to growing, harvest, and handling of crops including in roles as SQF, GLOBALG.A.P. and Sustainability Certifications auditor and as CB GLOBALG.A.P. Scheme Manager and Trainer. 

Astrid currently works with CCOF as CCOF’s GLOBALG.A.P. Registered Trainer.
