OCal certification is a comparable-to-organic program that ensures cannabis operations meet standards that are consistent with the National Organic Program (NOP). While there are private standards for “clean cannabis,” the OCal program is the first unified standard to be government regulated. Administered by the state of California, this program is the only one of its kind in the nation and directly compares to regulations for certified organic producers.
