Due to the implementation of USDA’s Strengthening Organic Enforcement (SOE) – the largest update to the National Organic Program since its inception – and the increased volume of new applicants resulting from SOE, CCOF’s review times for Processor/Handler operations are currently longer than usual.

To better support our members, CCOF has made several improvements, including streamlining our processes, hiring seven additional Processor/Handler reviewers, and prioritizing reviews that are critical to preventing delays in business .

We understand that these extended review times may impact your business, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working diligently to return to normal review times as quickly as possible.

If you are wondering if we’ve received your update, you can log into your MyCCOF account to review the Action Item Tracker tab under the “My Updates” subtab. Any update we receive from you will be visible there once we process it. Please note that it may take up to 5 business days to process your update. Once visible in MyCCOF, your update has been assigned to a reviewer, and we will notify you when our review is complete.

We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate this transition together. Thank you for your continued partnership.
