Sequoia Foods International, Inc. (“Sequoia Foods”) was established in January 2000 by partners Steve Buell and Jill Evart who bring more than 80 years of experience to the food industry, which includes extensive knowledge of purchasing, sales, cold storage warehousing and logistics. Our success is first based on our grower relationships to ensure the safest and highest quality products for our customers; and second, our long-term relationships with customers who team with Sequoia Foods to adapt to and embrace continuous challenges in the industry.
We specialize solely in selling the ingredient market – our customers further process or remanufacture bulk fruits and vegetables to sell to their retail, foodservice, club, export or industrial applications.
The demand for organic fruits and vegetables has waxed and waned over the past decade. However, we believe our commitment with Driscoll (under MOU) will strengthen our position to grow this market segment. And we are excited to partner with CCOF to help ensure that Sequoia Foods is in compliance with all NOP regulations in realizing this new opportunity and organic plan.
