2023 Farm Manager Job Description and Application

Horton Road Organics is a five acre market garden located in the Oregon coast range outside Eugene. For over 30 years, we have integrated education, residential community development and conscientious hands on organic food production. The farm supplies mixed vegetables for three thriving farmers markets, restaurants, natural food stores as well as an online store. It is also the home of a rustic retreat space used by a Zen community led by one of the farm owners.

Horton Road Organics, located in the Oregon coast range, integrates education, sustainable food production and community events throughout our main season, May through October. The farm organically grows over 30 varieties of crops on 5 acres which supply a 40-member CSA, three farmers markets, several restaurants and local natural food stores. The fields are tended mainly with hand work going into intensively cropped raised beds and greenhouse production. Each season, our farm welcomes a crew that includes farming apprentices and managers.
