Fifth Crow Farm is a certified organic and Animal Welfare Approved operation growing 75 acres of vegetables, fruits, flowers, and raising 700 laying hens on the beautiful California Coast. We are seeking a hard-working and inspired individual to join our team of tractor operators for the 2022 season. The person works closely with the farm owners and a small team of seasoned operators to manage 75 acres of field production, from primary tillage through to harvest, for a wide diversity of crops.
We are seeking 1 experienced farmer / culinary gardener for an immediate start date. You will own primary responsibility for all aspects of farm operations and be intimately involved in the execution of the farm plan: implementing the infrastructure plan, seasonal crop planning and implementation, cultivation, and land prep, seeding, transplanting, weed and pest management, harvesting and processing crops.

Wild Hope is a 12 acre, diverse organic vegetable operation located on a 200 acre family farm in Chester, SC. The farm is in its 4th year of operation, having scaled from 1-12 acres in the first three years but in our second year as a cash flow positive operation.
We currently have 2 greenhouses, 2 high tunnels, 3 production vegetable fields, and a ¾ acre flower field. We have a crew of 8-15 members at peak, living on or in close proximity to the farm. Our produce & flowers are sold through a 300-400 person farm share, wholesale, and at 2 farmers markets.
