Orchard Team Member

Apricot Lane Farms is a 234-acre farm in Moorpark, California: home of The Biggest Little Farm. With a team that makes the seemingly impossible possible, the farm regeneratively grows more than 200 varieties of fruits and vegetables, and raises sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, and ducks with care and respect while working in harmony (or a comfortable level of disharmony) within a dynamic ecosystem. Orchard Team members are responsible for the care of 100+ acres of over 70 fruit tree varieties under the guidance of the Orchard Manager and the Director of Soil and Plant Fertility.

Opening for SoCal Soil and Water Hub Coordinator

The Hub Coordinator will accelerate adoption of carbon farming and climate-smart practices in the region through stakeholder engagement and coordination, education and outreach, needs assessments, fund development and policy advocacy. The position focuses on building the technical capacity of member RCDs in Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties, while expanding the statewide Carbon Farming Network. 2023 Cranberry Harvest Crew

James Lake Farms, a family owned farm located in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, grows and harvests organic cranberries for both the frozen market and fresh produce. We currently have 187 acres of certified organic fruit. Our harvest season begins in late September and ends the week before Thanksgiving. We are seeking individuals with the flexibility to work either in the field or in our packing facility, as the daily work needs vary depending on crop development, purchase orders and the weather.
