HGP is seeking a Director of Operations to lead a cross functional team with responsibility for the Finance, Farm Operations, Retail Enterprise and Volunteer Coordination of the organization.

STRAW Restoration Technician - Point Blue Conservation Science

STRAW Restoration Technician We’re looking for an enthusiastic team member to assist in habitat restoration projects with Point Blue’s Students and Teachers Restoring A Watershed program.

The restoration technician will help in a primarily field-based role to facilitate student and staff planting days, lead work groups, organize logistics, and assist team members.

Operations Technician

 Operations Technician for Organic Farm Wide and varied duties to include, but not limited to, computer maintenance and upgrades, cell phone troubleshooting and upgrades, maintenance of private and company security systems, electrical and plumbing maintenance, purchasing of needed equipment, hardware and auto maintenance. Directs services provided by outside vendors and contractors (alarms, pest control, cameras, security systems, etc.) Determines inventory levels of all goods necessary for the running of the organic farm and personal homes on site.

Farmer & Educator - Jaiil Farm

GARDENER AND EDUCATOR at MENDOCINO COUNTY JAIL & MENDOCINO COUNTY JUVENILE HALL Unconditional Freedom is looking for a full-time male gardener and educator to manage the gardens at the Mendocino County Jail & Mendocino County Juvenile Hall. We want gardeners who can teach sustainable agricultural and permaculture methods and let the garden itself educate all while drawing out the brilliance each student has within.

Raw Roots Farm Internship

Raw Roots Farm is located in the Sierra Foothills just outside Yosemite National Park. Raw Roots Farm is a CCOF Organic certified 4-acre no till regenerative agriculture vegetable, fruit, eggs, and berry operation run by Andrew and Lauren Glikin. The farm runs year round and produces a diverse quantity of crops that are compatible with the seasonal climate they are grown in. The food is sold at local farmer’s markets and on the farm directly through a community shared agriculture (CSA) program.
