CCOF has developed this helpful guide to explain the requirements for labels on organic products sold in Canada, the EU, UK, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Mexico. All products being shipped to these markets under a U.S. Organic Equivalency Arrangement must meet the labeling requirements of the destination market. Please submit all labels to CCOF for approval prior to printing.

Enroll in the Mexico Compliance Program if your operation is located in Mexico or exports organic products to Mexico.
This document should be used by exporters shipping product to Japan and attaching the JAS seal through a consignment contract. Send a copy of this document to CCOF with every export certificate request.
This training is required in order for you to comply with the JAS Seal Consignment Contract. Complete the training and send a copy to your importer and CCOF.
If you ship product to Japan you and your importer can sign this contract, giving you the ability to attach your importer’s JAS seal on product you export to them. Follow all instructions for the consignment and complete the training for attaching JAS seals.
If your operation is producing wine that may be exported to the EU or Switzerland, or exporting wine to the EU or Switzerland, you will need to complete the GMA Wine Approval Application. CCOF will verify that your wines meet EU and/or Switzerland production requirements as part of your enrollment in the GMA program.
