Certification Updates

CCOF staff are working from home and the CCOF office is closed to the public. Please note that our response time may be slower than usual to your requests, especially with school and childcare closures impacting our team members. 

For our certified members, please note the following: 
  • If you or your operation are impacted by COVID-19 and you need additional support, such as due date extensions, we are here to help. Contact us at (831) 423-2263 or
  • Export documents may be delayed by a day or two. Please submit them as early as possible. 
  • We cannot accept 2-day Rush requests. We can accept 5-day Rush requests. All 2-day Rush requests will be reviewed in 5 business days.
  • Your annual inspection may take additional time to review. If you need a new certificate in the meantime, please email
  • Organic inspection appointments may be impacted to protect both your health and the inspector’s health. Certified members with upcoming inspections will be notified by email and phone if their inspection appointment will be changed. We ask that you cancel your inspection if you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms, and we are also happy to help you reschedule if you have other COVID-19 concerns. Email for assistance.

Financial Assistance

  • Coronavirus Food Assistance program – USDA’s Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) will provide direct relief to producers who have suffered losses during the 2020 marketing year due to COVID-19. Accepting applications through December 11, 2020.
  • Coronavirus Relief Options – by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Includes information on Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Emergency Advances (click here to apply), SBA Express Bridge Loans, and SBA Debt Relief.
  • Farmer Feedback Form – Farmers can confidentially share their experience with accessing federal aid, especially CFAP, with Farm Aid / NSAC
  • Navigating COVID-19 Relief for Farmers – Farmers’ Legal Action Group, Farm Aid, the Indigenous Food & Agriculture Initiative, the Intertribal Agriculture Council, Rural Advancement Foundation-International, and the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition. Incluye recursos en español.
