CCOF believes in being responsive and service oriented, We encourage clients to engage in open dialogue regarding organic certification issues because your complete satisfaction is our goal. CCOF wants to provide options should you disagree with a CCOF policy, service issue, or certification decision that relates to your business.

In these cases you are encouraged to contact the CCOF chief certification officer with your issue in writing. Jake Lewin can be reached at (831) 423-2263 Ext.21 or jake@ccof.org. Information about appealing binding certification decisions is also available in the CCOF Certification Program Manual.

Any adverse action decision, such as proposed suspensions or revocations, made by CCOF may be appealed to the California State Organic Program or the National Organic Program.
