El USDA ofrece financiaci\u00f3n para ayudar a los agricultores y grupos de agricultores a desarrollar empresas de valor a\u00f1adido a trav\u00e9s del programa <a       href=\"https:\/\/www.rd.usda.gov\/programs-services\/value-added-producer-grants\">Subvenci\u00f3n a los productores de valor a\u00f1adido<\/a> (VAPG).<\/p>\n<p>El USDA ha ajustado el programa VAPG en respuesta a COVID, incluyendo<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ampliar el plazo de presentaci\u00f3n a <strong>29 de abril <\/strong>para la aplicaci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica y a un       <strong>4 de mayo<\/strong> matasellos para las solicitudes en papel;<\/li>\n<li>aumentar la financiaci\u00f3n del programa a aproximadamente $76 millones; y<\/li>\n<li>reducir el requisito de participaci\u00f3n en los costes al 10% para los primeros solicitantes (v\u00e9anse los detalles en el documento del USDA <a       href=\"https:\/\/www.govinfo.gov\/content\/pkg\/FR-2021-03-05\/pdf\/2021-04687.pdf\">Notificaci\u00f3n modificada<\/a>).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Administrado por el Servicio de Cooperaci\u00f3n Empresarial Rural del USDA, el VAPG concede subvenciones a productores independientes, incluidos grupos y colectivos de agricultores y ganaderos, para desarrollar o ampliar empresas de valor a\u00f1adido propiedad de los productores. El VAPG concede dos tipos de subvenciones:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Ayudas a la planificaci\u00f3n <\/strong>proporcionar fondos de hasta $75.000 para actividades de planificaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica, como el desarrollo de planes empresariales y de marketing y los estudios de viabilidad necesarios para establecer oportunidades viables de comercializaci\u00f3n de productos con valor a\u00f1adido.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Subvenciones de capital circulante<\/strong>con un importe m\u00e1ximo de 1.250.000 PTT, financian directamente la transformaci\u00f3n y\/o comercializaci\u00f3n de productos de valor a\u00f1adido.
