La norma garantizar\u00eda requisitos claros y aplicables para el abastecimiento de reba\u00f1os lecheros org\u00e1nicos al exigir que los nuevos animales lecheros sean gestionados org\u00e1nicamente desde al menos el \u00faltimo tercio de la gestaci\u00f3n. La comunidad org\u00e1nica ha abogado por esta norma durante muchos a\u00f1os. La interpretaci\u00f3n inconsistente de la regla actual ha puesto a algunos agricultores en desventaja en una industria que ya est\u00e1 luchando. El 1 de octubre de 2019, el USDA reabri\u00f3 el per\u00edodo de comentarios p\u00fablicos de la regla. Los agricultores org\u00e1nicos, las partes interesadas de la industria y los defensores org\u00e1nicos tienen hasta el 2 de diciembre para comentar sobre la regla.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La comunidad org\u00e1nica debe unirse con una voz unificada para apoyar a los productores de l\u00e1cteos org\u00e1nicos exigiendo la implementaci\u00f3n de la tan esperada regla.
