We at CCOF are concerned about the potential effects of the current severe drought on organic livestock operations in California and elsewhere. To help us better understand the situation, we are asking organic livestock operations to complete this survey: www.surveymonkey.com/s/drought_2014.

CCOF will share this information with appropriate parties and use it to help decide if we should request a pasture rule variance from the NOP, in addition to other efforts. We hope to support organic operations in a variety of ways in the coming months and are hopeful that we will be able to offer hardship assistance again in 2014.
