Why Vote?

CCOF’s chapter system is a powerful tool to connect our members across the United States and Mexico. Chapter leaders have the unique opportunity to leverage the collective power of CCOF’s membership and staff to advance organic. Supported by CCOF staff, chapter leaders share their passion and experience by setting the agenda for meetings and driving networking and educational opportunities for organic professionals and supporters.

Chapter leaders are also instrumental in galvanizing organic advocacy efforts. As CCOF continues to work toward a healthy world where organic is the norm, chapters are key in driving policies that support organic agriculture.

We encourage you to participate in the upcoming chapter elections so your voice is heard at the leadership and governance levels. The Processor/Handler and San Luis Obispo chapters are currently in election periods. Links to electronic election ballots are emailed to the primary contact of each CCOF-certified business, or you can click the links at the beginning of this article to be taken directly to the voting webpages. It will only take a moment to vote.

If you are in one of these chapters and have not received an email to vote, or have any questions about these elections, email Adrian Fischer at afischer@ccof.org or call (831) 346-6282.
