The California State Water Resources Control Board will accept public comments on the proposed updates to the state cannabis water regulations. The State Water Board is proposing updates to the “Cannabis Cultivation Policy – Principles and Guidelines for Cannabis Cultivation,” “Cannabis Cultivation Policy Staff Report,” and the “General Waste Discharge Requirements and Wavier of Waste Discharge Requirements for Discharges of Waste Associated with Cannabis Cultivation Activities (Cannabis Cultivation General Order).”
Written comments will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Written comments can be submitted to in PDF format or mailed to:

The State Water Board will host an additional informational workshop on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the informational workshop is for State Water Board staff to present information and answer questions on the proposed updates. This workshop will take place at:
