CA Cannabis Advisory Committee to Meet on January 18

California’s new Cannabis Advisory Committee will meet on January 18 in Sacramento for the first time in 2018. The committee was formed by the Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC) to advise the licensing authorities on the development of standards and regulations regarding the best practices and guidelines to protect public health and safety. BCC announced its members last fall
 
The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be held at:
 
Sacramento Convention Center, Rooms 307 - 310 1400 
J Street
Sacramento, CA 95814
 
Those who cannot attend the meeting in person will be able to tune in online
 
The agenda for the meeting includes the election of the committee chair and vicechair, discussions and possible actions regarding the Cannabis Advisory Committee Handbook, and discussion of cannabis regulations. 
 
The committee will hold a rulemaking meeting on Tuesday, February 13 in Sacramento and will meet again on Thursday, March 15 in Los Angeles.
