CCOF is a growing organization that seeks highly qualified and trained professionals. In addition we have a highly competitive 240 hour Internship Program and we also weclome those seeking to volunteer time to support our mission to certify, educate and promote organic.
We are currently recruiting the following positions:
Interim Executive Director
Executive Director
Office Manager
CCOF Organic Inspectors
CCOF hires and contracts with qualified organic inspectors based on regional supply and demand loads. Location is an important factor. See “Current Regional Inspector Needs” section below.
Organic inspectors are highly qualified professional auditors possessing a suitable combination of relevant education and work experience in crops, and/or livestock, and/or food processing and handling. A general requirement is the completion of relevant courses offered by Independent Organic Inspectors Association (IOIA). If you do not have any prior inspection experience, please investigate this website thoroughly before contacting CCOF.
Inspectors without extensive prior organic inspection experience complete additional training with CCOF, composed of 3-10 apprentice inspections.

CCOF Certification Staff
CCOF does not currently have certification staff openings. However, we are interested in learning about committed and talented individuals who may be good fit during future hiring events. The Internship Program at CCOF
The Internship program at CCOF is designed to provide a stimulating work experience for those wanting to get involved in the growing organic movement. The Internship Program includes a comprehensive intern certificate training program.
Volunteering at CCOF
CCOF welcomes those wishing to volunteer their time in support of organic whether it be a few hours a week, once a month or in support of a specific project. For more information on volunteering email Jane Wade: jwade@ccof.org
