Employment / Internships / Volunteer / Mentor

CCOF is a growing organization that seeks highly qualified and trained professionals.

We are currently recruiting the following positions:

Executive Assistant
Open Until Filled
The primary duties of the Executive Assistant are to assist the Executive Director, Assistant Director and other staff with a wide variety of day-to-day tasks as well as plan and implement events and long-term projects, all with little or no supervision. Supervises volunteers and interns. Coordinates the production and distribution of email alerts. Drafts and distributes communication regarding fund development, education and advocacy issues. Coordinates Board of Directors meetings, takes minutes as needed, and maintains board and committee forms, decision summaries, and policies binder(s). Maintains mailing and email lists. Serves as a backup to the office coordinator/receptionist. Assists with simple IT tasks, as needed. Assists with some HR functions, such as new employee orientation and insurance paperwork. Assists with facilities tasks, such as coordinating maintenance, signage, and janitorial. Work will range widely, from writing articles and letters to copying and collating packets and mailings to moving furniture to running errands. Development Specialist
Open Until Filled
CCOF seeks an experienced individual to fill this newly created full-time position to secure increased funding for our trade association’s work in education, advocacy, promotion and member and chapter services. The Development Specialist will work with the Executive Director in the areas of grants, membership, events and outreach. Will require occasional overtime, working weekends, and travel. Program Specialist
Open Until Filled
CCOF seeks an experienced individual to fill this newly created full-time position working under the supervision of the Policy and Program Director (PPD) to plan and implement CCOF’s educational programs on the national, state and local levels. Incumbent will work with the PPD and CCOF chapter leadership to provide assistance with local chapter programming. Incumbent will create and maintain various member services for the trade association. Job will require occasional overtime, working weekends, and travel. This is not an entry level position. The Internship Program at CCOF
The Internship and volunteer program at CCOF is designed to provide a stimulating work experience for those wanting to get involved in the growing organic movement.

There is a program for everyone. Volunteer a few hours a week, or participate in our comprehensive intern certificate training program.
