Improve Efficiency of Crop Irrigation Systems and Nutrient Applications

The Resource Conservation District of Santa Cruz County (RCDSCC) is offering technical and financial assistance to improve efficiency of crop irrigation systems and nutrient applications. Growers throughout the Pajaro River Watershed (Santa Cruz, Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara) are eligible for one or all of the following services and reports:

• Evaluation of existing irrigation system efficiency
• Assessment of water and nutrient management practices
• Development or modification of crop specific irrigation and fertilization management strategies
• Implemention of improved irrigation and nutrient management practices

The process starts with contacting the RCDSCC to schedule a meeting in the field.
